Independent · No commissions · No contingency

Your insurance company read every word of your policy. Have you?

EvenCover decodes your homeowner's policy in plain English — every coverage, every exclusion, every deadline. Know where you stand before you ever need to file a claim.

Founding-member pricing: $49 per policy analysis. We don't sell insurance and never will.

How it works

Three steps to even footing.

Your policy is a contract written by the other side. We read every word — then hand you the translation.

1

Upload your policy

Declarations page + policy packet. Takes two minutes. Renewal letters welcome — those amendment pages matter more than you think.

2

We read every page

Every coverage, endorsement, exclusion, and sublimit — extracted and cross-checked. Percentage deductibles converted to real dollars. Nothing skimmed.

3

Get your Scorecard

Graded coverage report, prioritized gap list, and a ready-to-send list of questions for your agent — so you can fix the gaps on your terms.

What we find

The fine print that decides your claim.

These aren't rare. They're in the policies of homeowners who believe they're fully covered.

Your roof quietly switched to "actual cash value."A roof payment schedule endorsement can turn a $28,000 replacement into a $9,000 check on a 15-year-old roof.
Your deductible is a percentage — of your home's value.A 2% wind/hail deductible on a $450,000 dwelling limit is $9,000 out of pocket before coverage starts.
Water backup isn't covered unless you bought it back.Sewer and sump backup is excluded by default on most policies. The buyback endorsement often costs less than dinner.
Cosmetic damage exclusions on roofs and siding.Added quietly at renewal. Hail dents that don't "penetrate" may be worth $0 under this endorsement.
Your policy sets its own lawsuit deadline. Many policies shorten the time you have to act after a loss — shorter than state law. Miss it and you can lose the right to recover.
Ordinance & law coverage that can't cover the code upgrades.Older home + 10% ordinance coverage = you fund the code-required rebuild difference yourself.

Why we exist

Built by someone who sat across the table.

"I ran a restoration company for three and a half years. I watched homeowners discover — mid-disaster — what their policies actually said. The carrier knew every word. The homeowner was reading it for the first time, standing in a flooded kitchen. That information gap is fixable. That's EvenCover."

Robert Conley — Founder. 20 years operating and investing in businesses, including 3.5 years owning and operating a three-territory restoration franchise in Dallas that he successfully exited in 2025.

FAQ

Fair questions.

No. EvenCover provides independent, educational analysis of your own policy documents and self-advocacy tools for your own use. We don't negotiate with insurance companies, represent you in a claim, or give legal advice. When a situation calls for a licensed public adjuster or an attorney, we say so clearly and can point you to licensed professionals.
No, and we never will. We don't sell policies, take referral fees from carriers or agents, or earn a percentage of anything. Flat fees from homeowners are our only business model — that independence is the entire point.
Your declarations page and policy packet (the PDF your carrier emails at renewal, or photos of the paper copy). For a Denial Assessment, add the denial or underpayment letter and any correspondence with your carrier.
A Denial Assessment shows you what your policy actually says versus what the denial letter claims, the deadlines that apply in your state, and the options available to you — from asking for the claim file to filing a state insurance department complaint to engaging licensed help. What it can't do is promise an outcome; anyone who promises you one is selling something.
Yes. Your documents are used to produce your analysis, full stop. We don't sell your information to agents, carriers, or lead-generation companies — that's the business model many "free" policy tools are actually running.
Policy analysis works in every state. Deadline maps and claim-related material are state-specific — we're launching with Texas and expanding from there. Join early access and tell us your state.
